r12 CAMPAIGN
Just a reminder that if you are a part of the r12 Campaign, you should be reading Chapters 6-10 this week.

Dear Volunteers,

During the month of May, PADS is looking for volunteers to commit to working a variety of shifts. If you are able to help please let them know by contacting Stephanie Harman- Sharman@dupagepads.org or 630-682-8567 ext 345.


May Volunteer Needs:
THURSDAY MAY 19th
2 people from 8 pm to 10:30 pm: Upstairs sign in monitors- Assist guests as they come in, sign them in if they are late arrival.


2 people from 10 pm to 2:30 am: Overnight monitoring-Monitor guests, check for late arrivals and early wakeups, assist guests as needed.


FRIDAY MAY 20th

2 people from 2:00 am 5:00 am: Overnight monitoring-Monitor guests, check for late arrivals and early wakeups, assist guests as needed.

5-10 people from 5:00/5:30 am to 7:30 am to help serve breakfast, clean up pads and clean up after breakfast. Help restore site, take out trash.

REMINDER
r12 CAMPAIGN
The r12 Campaign is underway in the ABF classes at 9:00 A.M. on Sundays. The classes have started and have gone through the introduction of the Campaign. You may still join one of the ABFs to be a part of the journey - it's not too late.

There are no specific age groups, everyone is welcome to meet wherever they feel comfortable.

Following are the ABF Class Locations/Teachers:

Fellowship Hall - Teacher: Wayne Kuna

Room 205 - Teacher: Scott Springer

Room 103 - Teacher: Jim McMahan (during the 10:30 hour)

Don't forget FBC's Annual Business Meeting this evening at 7:00 in the sanctuary. There will be reports given, voting on the school budget, etc.

Former member, Gordon Wood, went home to be with the Lord after suffering a heart attack this week. There will be a memorial service for him at Grace Pointe tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.

KIWANIS PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Saturday, 5/7/11 from 7-11 a.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3.00 for children. Children five and under eat free. FBC Fellowship Hall. You can enter through the West entrance.

Please be advised: THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE LINCOLN CENTER PARKING LOT. (They are having several events going on that day.)

PLEASE PARK IN THE CHURCH'S MAIN PARKING LOT AT THE CORNER OF MAPLE & WASHINGTON.

If you are interested in helping/volunteering, for the week of June 13 through 17, with Vacation Bible School, or for just a few days or even a few hours each day, please come to an informative meeting on Wednesday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Many leaders/helpers are needed throughout the whole week. People to help set-up, run games, tell stories, kitchen help, etc.

Please pray about where the Lord would like to use you during this fun-filled, Bible teaching, reaching children for the Lord week.

We look forward to seeing you on May 4th at 7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.
