Hello Church Family,

I wanted to let you know that we are still in need of a few helpers for this Wednesday, Sept 22nd for the PADS Ministry:

NEEDS:
One more person for the 3:00am to 6:00am shift
Three more people are needed to do Laundry
Two more people are needed to work breakfast clean-up 6:00am / 7:30am

Please let me know if you are able to help with this need.

A quick update of this Ministry situation:
I have committed to complete this season's of PADS (serving dates of September, November, January & March), then we will turn over our responsibility to another support church for next year. I have asked FUMC to find a new support church (asap or) for next fall as I will no longer be able to lead this Ministry. I thank you for all of your faithful support and provision. This Ministry and all of you have been a true BLESSING to me. My future goal is to have the opportunity to "simply" be a volunteer for PADS without the responsibility of the administration and excution of this Ministry. God has been good to encourage me that this is the time to let go and set new goals for myself. I love you all and look forward to finishing this season with your support, while showing and sharing the heart of Jesus with the PADS clients.

Please continue to pray for David Morrill's Father. He is still in intensive care but showing very slight progress. Antibiotics might be working but many prayers are needed. Thank You.

Gleaners will have a truck load of corn at 6p.m. today at an empty lot in Downers Gorve - 5604 Katrine. West on Maple and South on Katrine.

Bring your own containers as they will not have any available. First come first served.

Just a friendly reminder that we will have Sunday school and ABFs this Sunday, 9/12/10, beginning at 9:00 A.M. Life Builders ABF will meet at 10:45 A.M.

We also begin two services: 9:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M.

There will be Junior Church at 10:45 A.M.

A huge thanks to all the women (and men) who came forward to help...what a blessing and encouragement this is to have a good amount of helpers in three of the four clubs. However, we still need committed, consistent men to help in the boys clubs.

AWANA begins tomorrow at 6:30 p.m., you may show up to help even though you did not attend the meeting. As noted, there is still a shortage of men in the boys clubs. Please come by and let us know if you can help all of the time, part of the time, or occasionally. You will be truly blessed by these children. Won't you please pray about how the Lord can use you to help with this ministry.
