We are looking for someone to assist Kelly Bennema on Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. with picture taking for the FBC pictorial.

She will need someone to make sure release forms are signed and possibly help with the light screen during picture taking.

Come play at Ebersold Park!!!

This week's park play date will be on Thursday July, 8 at Ebersold Park from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is invited!! Bring your kids of all ages, or just yourself. Pass this on to anyone else you think may be interested. Ebersold is located on Main and 59th in Downers Grove. The parking lot is off of Main just south of 59th street.

FBC Kids Summer Update

Promotions are held in the fall on the first Sunday after Labor Day. For example, children who just finished Kindergarten will stay in the 4s & Ks until September 12 and kids who just finished 4th grade are still in Junior Church until September 12.

Sunday School Our regular grade level teachers are on break & we have some openings to fill. Lesson packets will be ready for you. Call (630) 390-1540 or e-mail larisa@calvanese.com to let me know what month will work for you. Thank you!

3rd & 4th Grade: Leader for August 22 (Debbie Rea possibly unavailable that week.)

5th & 6th Grade: July & August need a leader and a helper.

Junior Church (Children who were in Grades 1-4 this past school year) at 10:30 Have combined in the Chapel after dismissal from Worship Service. Please pick-up children here after church. We’ll continue with this location for the school year and need 1 adult & junior helper for a month a time. Contact Larisa Calvanese at 390-1540 or e-mail at larisa@calvanese.com to volunteer.

There are 3 Sundays we need 2-3 volunteers for Junior Church: July 25, August 1 and August 8 or we will forego Junior Church for those 3 weeks.
