UPDATE
Parking for tomorrow's funeral
Dear Church Family, Many of you will come to First Baptist tomorrow morning at 10:00AM to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Bonnie Zimmerman. In order to accommodate the large number of people expected to be here, we would like to inform of you of the following logistics. Our main parking lot at Maple & Washington will be used ONLY for those who will participate in the funeral procession after the service. The parking lot attendants and funeral director will be lining up your car as you arrive for the funeral service. Please do not enter this lot if you will not participate in the procession. Those who will only attend the service should plan on parking as follows. There are spots available along neighboring streets as well as the Downers Grove Parking Garage. If you are able to walk a short distance, we strongly encourage you to park in one of those locations. We will also run a shuttle from the First United Methodist Church located at Maple and Main Streets. Please park in the west spaces of their lot and wait for the First Baptist vehicle to transport you to FBC. The shuttle will also run after the service, leaving from the FBC west entrance. While we often use the Lincoln Center lot, located west of First Baptist, we ask that our people use that lot only as a last resort. Due to Park District programming, we do not have the access to this lot we would normally enjoy.
Let's all do our part to accommodate the large number of guests who will come to our church tomorrow. If you have any questions, please contact the church office. You are Loved, Pastor Rob Chagdes

ANNOUNCEMENT
A NEW LIFE/A WONDERFUL TESTIMONY
Several months ago, Pastor Don shared with the congregation that Vickie Wigsmoen was a surrogate mother for a family that was unable to have children. On Thursday, 1/21/10, Vickie gave birth to John Henry III who weighed in at 6 lbs/13 oz and was 19" long.
Vickie & Al (who have a three year old son, Ethan) were thrilled at the happiness of the new parents as they took their new baby home from the hospital.
Vickie is at home treasuring their precious son, Ethan, and the knowledge that another family now has the opportunity to share in the joy of being parents.
Praise God for this wonderful miracle and heart warming testimony.
