First Baptist Church of Downers Grove is committed to providing a loving atmosphere with responsible, safe, and healthy care for children ages newborn until 24 months or potty trained.

The Facilities...

One suite of two separate room provides age appropriate environments for our children. Our Baby Angels Infant Side includes a crawler area, swings, saucers & toys. There is also a separate sleeping area with monitor. A private room is available for nursing mothers. The Busy Bees Toddler Side has dolls & housekeeping area, books, music & toys. Both sides have diaper changing facilities.

Upon your first visit...

Please see that your child's diaper bag, bottle, pacifiers & cups are labeled. Our rooms are supplied with wipes & diapers but we ask that you include these in your diaper bag as well.

Check-In & Check-Out Procedures

When you arrive a greeter will help sign-in your child at the counter. Please do not enter the rooms. You will be asked to leave your cell phone number (please set phone to vibrate) OR use an FBC pager so that we can contact you if your child needs you. You will also be given an ID Tag which matches the tag on your child. If you arrive before a nursery worker please stay with your child. Children are not to be left with anyone under the age of 18, including siblings, in the nursery.

All parents MUST present ID Tag to claim children and MUST Time In & Out the Sign In sheet. If someone other than the parent is to pick up be sure he/she has the ID Tag.

Please have only one parent pick-up & drop-off child. Children will not be released to siblings under 18. Please do not ask to be the exception to these safety rules.
