In conjunction with the Mission Statement of First Baptist Church: "It is our mission to boldly proclaim the Gospel and motivate believers to maturity in Christ," it is the role of Women's Ministries to minister to the needs of the women of our church family by providing opportunities in the areas of fellowship, Bible Study, evangelism, outreach, discipleship and prayer. We count it a privilege to pray regularly for the women of the church, and specifically when a need is brought to our attention. Our deaconesses are available as prayer partners and to assist a sister in Christ who is hurting. While we are not counselors*, we desire to stand in the gap using prayer, encouragement and the Word of God as a guide for daily life.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
